Greencoir’s roots trace back to 2000 when our family established a coco coir manufacturing facility in Sri Lanka. This facility has been at the heart of our operations, driven by a commitment to producing the highest quality coco coir products. It’s from this foundation that Greencoir was born, combining decades of experience with a dedication to sustainable practices.
In 2022, Greencoir was founded to bring these premium products directly to the New Zealand market. Our growth has been built on the same family values of quality, reliability, and customer focus that have defined our legacy. We started small, working closely with local gardening stores, building strong relationships, and understanding the needs of New Zealand growers.
Today, our team continues to serve the New Zealand market, supplying high-quality products while also providing education and support to ensure the success of our customers. Key Quality Assurance Standards:
- 21-Day Grow-Out Test: Product samples undergo a 21-day grow-out test at the National Plant Quarantine Service, Sri Lanka. The samples and batches are certified to be free from soil contaminants, plant material, viable seeds, visually detectable soil seeds, and pests.
- Certified Pest-Free: Thoroughly processed to ensure products are free from pests and diseases.
- No Chemical Residue: Made from premium coco coir, free from harmful chemicals and residues, ensuring safe and clean growing.
